On Monday, 3M Canada and Learning for a sustainable future joined together to challenge and motivate students to engage in inspiring and rewarding community sustainability projects through inquiry learning. The EcoLeague Youth Forums were designed to provide both teachers and students with the opportunity to explore environmental sustainability issues, facilitated by various community volunteers.

The students had a chance to take a bear-aware workshop, explore the idea of watersheds and sustainable community building, to learn about air quality from CEMA, and to learn about eco-friendly irrigation techniques and vermicompost. Students were encouraged to embark on projects with their schools, and 3M volunteers worked with the participating schools to implement the action projects.
