Important Information for the Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo PC Nomination Vote

Active PC members in the provincial riding of Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo go to the polls noon to 6 p.m. March 7 at the Clearwater Suites. The nomination vote is to decide who will be the riding’s PC candidate in this year’s provincial election. Your candidates are incumbent Mike Allen and Tracy McKinnon.
Voters must have current PC memberships to vote. These memberships can be purchased on line at pcalberta.org until March 5. They can be purchased in person up until March 7, including at the door. Memberships are $10 for one year or $20 for two years. Bring two pieces of ID with you.
To be eligible to vote in the nomination meeting, you must be a Canadian Citizen, live in the Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo riding and be 14 years or older.
Young Tories aged 14-17 are eligible to vote provided they have their current PC membership, have one piece of ID and are accompanied by a parent or guardian. A Commissioner of Oaths will be on hand on March 7 for any required signature declarations at the polling station.
All votes count. Please come out and support your candidates.
