Time for some sunny breakfast. Fort McMurray is now home to Cora Breakfast and Lunch, as of October 19, and the franchise is celebrating with a week of activities. The grand opening held on October 21, featured founder Cora Mussely Tsouflidou, and local dignitaries in attendance for the traditional Egg Cracking ceremony. A cheque was also presented to the Northern Lights Health Foundation, the group’s chosen charity.
The local franchise is owned by Firas Farhat, and was a project two years in the making. Cora Breakfast and Lunch has 127 franchises across Canada including Fort McMurray. And, according to officials, over 200,000 weekly clients across Canada visit the restaurant for breakfast.
“Cora Breakfast and Lunch is extremely thrilled to be welcoming local owner-franchisee Firas Farhat into the Cora family. The Egg Cracking ceremony on grand opening day marked the beginning of a delicious journey,” noted Tsouflidou, who has won many awards for her business savvy.
“We are best known for our unique, fresh and fruit-filled breakfasts, based on mouth-watering recipes, served in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. Whether it’s scrumptious crêpes, delicious French toast, mountains of fresh fruit or defining egg dishes, you will certainly find something to delight your taste buds,” she added.
“Providing excellent customer service is top priority for our local franchisee and his team. Both are committed to ensuring each guest receives a true Cora experience, treating every guest like a guest in their own home.”
Cora Breakfast and Lunch is located on 8528 Manning Avenue.
